Marina Capeto Novello joined Vista Equity Partners in 2022 and serves as General Counsel and Secretary for Vista Credit Strategic Lending.

Prior to Vista, Marina spent several years as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, where she was a member of the firm’s Finance Group advising clients on leveraged finance, acquisition finance and other corporate finance transactions. During her time at Debevoise, Marina was seconded to The Carlyle Group, where she supported the investment legal team for the firm’s global credit platform.

Marina began her legal career in Brazil, where she spent nearly a decade practicing at Stocche Forbes Advogados and Souza, Cescon, Barrieu e Flesch Advogados, both in São Paulo, focusing on project finance, banking and structured finance.
